Palin's salutes Tea Party success

The primary season ended with a bang last week, with Tea Party favorite Christine O'Donnell's victory capping off a surprisingly strong showing for Republican insurgents in states from Delaware to Alaska.

Now, one week after O'Donnell's win, Sarah Palin's political action committee is out with a not-so-subtle reminder that the former Alaska governor has long been one of the movement's strongest supporters.

In a new web video (not a paid-for advertisement) that is reminiscent of her earlier "Mamma Grizzlies" effort, Palin is heard calling the Tea Party "the future of politics" in America. NBC's Domenico Montanaro discusses the latest video with MSNBC's Tamron Hall:

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Discuss this post

And a BIG SALUTE to those taking government handouts when they don't need them and then crying and whining about how effed up government is:

In Alaska, we Salute YOU:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/39293407/ns/politics/

I do hope they choke on their particular brand of hypocrisy. Looking at you, too, Bachman in Minnesota!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

PS. This woman is an affront to Grizzlies. Please MAKE her go away. She is a clueless Twit. The future of politics is NOT this fringe element,...regardless of how much she wishes it were so.

Please, run, Sarah, PLEASE!

Any irony with the 'gun' metaphor? Ended with a BANG?

I know Sarah Palin loves to castigate the”LSM” (Lame Stream Media) but she owes them big time. They report her every insipid utterance and give undue weight to every unintelligible thing that comes out of her mouth or appears on Facebook or Twitter.

She thinks she is as important as the President of the United States, encouraged by the MSM in this egomaniacal exercise because they seek her response to the President’s speeches and initiatives.

Now they are on a rant about how her “Tea Party” candidates will probably win in November and shift the balance of power.

My God! That is a good thing? They are for the most part extreme right wingers with no real plans to move the county forward and there is no way in hell they will be successful at repealing Healthcare Reform, Financial Form or anything else.

So what does this get Sarah Palin. Nothing except more media coverage.

Seems like you Dem girls know more about Palin than that your prez. That's weird and troubling. We

don't know where in hell he originated. We don't know what are his educational records. All we

know he is a socialist. We don't know what country he belong to. Hawaii, Indonesia or Kenya?

He seem to appear through the mists of time with that hyena grin of his. Even his Dems don't

know much about him. He never run a business nor handle a payroll nor owned a business. He has

no political experience or management skills. All we know is that he used to be a Communist

Organizer in Chicago where he used to nail pamphlets on lamposts with his shoe heel and paint

graffiti on its walls. We know he started his political career in the living room of an American

terrorist. And we know that he has brought this country to its knees and its bankrupt.

But you and the Dems know what color panty Palin wears and every microscopial tidbit of Palin's

life and career. You know where Palin was born but not the Bama. His life is a Jykell and Hyde.

I guess he is hiding now.

Juven - You're right; when someone as dumb as Palin presumes to run for an unimportant office like Vice President of the United States, we should just leave her alone and stop asking such difficult questions...you know...questions to which the answer would take up more room than she has on both palms put together...

The "Frozen Tundra Queen", halfwit/half governor, Sarah Palin is so very liberal in giving and bestowing misguided Tea baggers with ignorance.

The Tea Party is the future of politics? Wow, that woman has no sense except how to make a buck while selling red meat to the faithful. Because the media focuses so much on the TP, it appears larger and more influential than it really is. This is the extreme wing of the GOP, it is NOT a new party with new ideas--these are the same liberatarian views with a twist. The TP makes plenty of noise and democrats should not ignore it but it will fall one of these days right along with the extremist views they cherish because most of America is not extreme left or right.

The worry should be for Democrats that Democrats turn out this fall...

I see a great deal of negativity out there right now. The Repubs think they will have a mandate based on the midterm election results. The amount of race hatred and bigotry is more than I have seen in my lifetime, and I date back to the 1960s! And that hatred out there is only eclipsed by political ignorance of facts and reality. It's like half the population has been brainwashed.

Civility is gone in the name of political gain. The Republicans have Rush to keep them from straying and thinking for themselves lest they draw his ire.

Sarah Palin often makes remarks that are prejudicial and hateful. She did this during the 2008 campaign, we saw the anger in the crowds. She continues to throw fuel on the fear fire, the bigot fire for affect to rally the TP faithful. But in all honesty, I think she does not comprehend the danger of stepping over the line. She complained last year that she wasn't insighting violence, that her remarks about reloading were just words. She really does not understand the lone wolf who might take her at her word--it is beyond her.

Newt Gingrich, on the other hand, knows exactly what he is doing with his prejudiced, hateful, racist remarks. He knows his words are fuel for the frenzied wing of the party. He understands the concept of the lone wolf who heeds the subtle call for action.

Gingrich and Palin are both dangerous breeds of politicians. The difference is that Palin doesn't "get it" but Gingrich knows exactly what he is doing--it is his goal to

have NO problem with Mrs. Palin :
            - Quitting her job that people elected her to do
            - Making money by selling a book that was written for her
            - Spending most of the donations that are given to her PAC on trivial things
            - Speaking at functions that pay her to do so
            - Talking with very much borderline language for free speech
            - Supporting other candidates that are not from the party that supported her
            - Writing things down on the palm of her hand because she is forgetful
            - Saying things that quite often are not based in reality or fact.

Palin and her ilk are just a bunch of Neo-Dumb-Cons. They want to keep the minorities as a lumpenproletariat class to be exploited to fight the wars for the Nouveau riche. They need wars and class warfare to keep their incomes and financial positions. Nothing more!

I personally have formed a theory that those chosen to run in the position of vice president are selected specifically as something of an insurance policy against the assassination of the president in that no thinking assassin would possibly contemplate putting one of them into a true position of power. I mean, really, look at the list and carefully consider what outstanding qualities these V.P.s would have had to offer had they suddenly been moved into the presidency. Dan Quayle, Al Gore, Dick Cheney, Joe Biden, and of course Sarah Palin. See what I mean? No one but a raving lunatic would harm the president in any way that might allow one of these people to step into a real position of power. By the way John McCain, I voted for you in 2008 in spite of useless baggage you were dragging along, but don't you think that perhaps you might have overdone it on the insurance policy just a bit? Thanks a whole lot good buddy.

                      The Palin Strategy

Whilst the whole world and the lame stream media has been laughing and mocking Sarah Palin from day

one she has achieved something that has now shocked the political front. She perceived that the

Republicans most of whom are Conservatives turn renegades have been siding with the Dems in the

Congress and aiding the Dems to pass monumental legislation, thus enabling the Dems to lay the

foundation for a socialist US. So what she did was to target those hard core Repubs who turned

renegades and align themselves with the socialist Dems. She brought a message to the Tea movement

that not only that Obama and his cronies is to blame for trying to implement huge spending and huge

govt but also those renegade Repubs who aided and abetted him. And that they were too long in

the Congress. They had to be removed. They were as the record show as they fell like ninepins. The

Dems are now alone with no Independent help. Thus, Palin make it easier to remove the Dems in

Nov. That is a brilliant strategy on her part. Listen up Dems. Once Cuomo and Coon goes its all over.

WE THE PEOPLE will govern this land without the stench of socialism and big govt run economies.
