The Washington Post: "The Senate is planning to vote Tuesday on whether to end debate on a $725.7 billion annual defense policy bill, a measure that includes a repeal of the "don't ask, don't tell" law, which bans gays from serving openly in the armed forces. The vote is expected to be close but is almost certain to pass if Democrats can break a Republican-led filibuster. The House passed a similar measure in May, and a House-Senate compromise version is expected to pass both chambers after the November midterm elections."

Lady Gaga called McCain's weak, feeble, bellyflop out! Haha I can she Lady Gaga's point if you are a homophobe you should go home. McCain won his primary maybe he should go home if he loses; too bad he won't go home should he lose.

How does an official policy of lying promote American or Christian values. Why should any citizen who puts their life on the line for this country have to lie about who or what they are. It is absurd to support lying as official policy. What else will military personell be required to lie about in the future. Maybe we could cut the deficit if we have an official policy that requires them to steal as well as lie. There is no defense for this policy most people punish their children when they lie.

McCain never votes with a conscience. He only votes to preserve what he perceives as his right wing agenda. People who label him as a "moderate" do not see the real John McCain....he should be unmasked for what he is: someone who ALWAYS speaks to enhance HIS position, not the position of our country. I am an 18 yr military (O-5) veteran who feels betrayed every time this fool decides to spew his nonsense. It's time to put this incompetent and backstabbing senator out to pasture.
