In perhaps the most surprising outcome of an already surprising primary season, the Associated Press has projected that Christine O'Donnell has beaten Rep. Mike Castle in Delaware's GOP Senate primary.
With 86% of districts reporting, O'Donnell is leading Castle, 54%-46%.
O'Donnell will take on Democrat Chris Coons in the general election, and Coons will start out as the front-runner for Joe Biden's old Senate seat.

God help the United States of America, for surely we are headed into disaster wth the possibility of idealogues such as O'Donnell in United States Senate.
GBM, this coupled with Florida Republican Jim Greer Tweeting that the Party he Loved(GOP) is Racist, shows that Republicans will regret these last 20 months.
They've collected salarys from the American Taxpayer & have done NOTHINg to earn it.
It's comeing back to Bite them "Where the Sun don't Shine"!
You Betcha!
Mark, Thanx for stayingup & keeping us Informed of these happeneings.
You are so right Rick, I sent you a note on the other side regarding Mr Greer.
Mark, I second Rick, thank you for the late night work. It is appreciated.
Liberal brothers and sisters..engage..we could possibly pull off the biggest upset in history. Say good night dopes of nope, we are gritting our teeth.
Has anyone noticed how the media is treating the dopes of nope primaries? I , just for a second thought they had won the general..just sayin'.
I wonder when the Washington media narrative will change to "Tea Party shreds establishment GOP; ensures more losses on Election Day" - oh wait, that's right - that won't happen. They've already decided this is an "anti-incumbent/anti-Democrat" year thanks to the likes of folks such as Charlie Cook (who, though well respected, is often wrong as many people who try to predict the future are).
Castle would have coasted to victory; methinks this Tea Party person is going to lose badly. Can someone in Washington please come up with a new narrative? The present one is getting a little old, especially given events like this one!!

I couldn't agree more. But unless the Democrats get out and start fighting and stop appeasing the Republicans, then we are sure to lose, and I have stated this fact so many times in my previous post on the subject.
Attack of the Clones
I watched Christine O'Donnell's remarks last night as she proclaimed victory and couldn't help but notice how much she looks like a "Mama Grizzly" wannabe...she looked more like the high school girl who just won Homecoming Queen than she did a serious candidate for Senate.
Between this nomination, Rand Paul in Kentucky, Joe Miller in Alaska, Crazy Carl Paladino's nomination for Governor of New York, the message from the GOP is clear...
...Moderates Not Welcome!
If the GOP falls one seat short of a majority in the Senate this year, this is the seat.
Man, talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face! The GOP had a good candidate in Castle- Conservative yet moderate enough to appeal to Delaware voters. I guess the Tea Partiers would rather loose the seat than to put in a 'moderate'. When will they figure out that they're actually hurting the GOP? Hopefully never!
