President Obama snaps his losing streak when dipping his toes into the electoral waters. The AP has just called Colorado's Democratic Senate primary for incumbent (and appointed) Sen. Michael Bennet. He defeated former state House speaker Andrew Romanoff.
Bennet will face the winner of the GOP primary between Ken Buck (who has 52% with 63% of precincts reporting) and Jane Norton (who has 48%).

It will be interesting to see how much credit the president will get for this vs. how much "blame" he would have received if Romanoff had won. Tomorrow, every channel would have been discussing "what does this mean for Obama" if Romanoff had won it. Crickets tomorrow?
I was recently thinking about how much grief Obama received over the oil spill...I don't see the same people giving him 'credit' for shutting down the well.
Oh I don't know Crenshaw, I live on the Gulf I can tell you it took Obama 9 Days to say something. He turned down help from other nations. He doesn't get any credit from people down here. He blocked every suggestion from people down here to keep the oil away. The county down here, Okaloosa, acted without Obamas permission. Obama told Okaloosa that they won't get re-embursed. So yeah, Obama is a tool and not welcomed down here. To add insult to injury, Michele told people to come down here and she takes off to Spain!!!! But wait, the Great One is coming down here next week, for only one day!!!!
Below is the proof that the piece of crap media won't say..................

Paul, the area in Florida you come from, wouldn't agree with anything the President did anyway, So?
I am insulted at how you write about President and Mrs Obama, and I hope that you and your ilk will not be so crass to them when they come down to your little racist corner of the world.
You repeat the same nonsense being touted daily by the anti-Obama machine. You should try checking the information you hear before repeating it. There were emergency response teams from foreign countries headed to the Gulf immediately after the explosion. There were ships from many nations helping with the BP oil spill. The President did not wait nine days before making a statement.
When you make comments about the Obama family, it makes you appear the fool who is petty and childish.
Jindal's barrier costing a million has disappeared back into the ocean just as the civil engineers warned it would.
Paul in FL says “He turned down help from other nations.”
Not true – 12 miles out is international waters thus the Jones act is not in effect. It was BP that turned away offers for help because they said the Gulf was too crowded.
Good morning from Denver. I guess we're getting a little off the topic here?
As for Bennet, well, there isn't much substance that he and Romanoff disagreed on. Either one would be a plus in the Senate for Colorado. Unfortunately, all the fratricidal negative ads took a toll on both, who now have to do some image rehab.
I think the more interesting races were on the Republican ticket in Colorado. We got Dan Maes (R) running against Tancredo (I) and Hickenlooper (D) for governor. Maes was the craziest Republican running (urban biking is a UN plot), so it's not a shock that the Tea Party wanted him. He'll get blown out by Hickenlooper in November.
Norton (R) lost to Buck (R) in the Republic senate primary. It should be an interesting general election. Buck is getting a lot of Citizen's United money flowing in from all over the country. He may be able to knock off Bennet in November.
I'm glad Bennett won, I like Romanov but I think Bennett has a better chance of holding the seat against Buck. Buck is better than Norton, but he's a bit crazy himself haha. Hickenlooper is giong to destroy Maes and my personal love to hate politician Tancredo. The Republicans had a chance here but they ended up shooting themselves in the foot in both races.
