“Former Minnesota Sen. Norm Coleman is considering a run for RNC chairman in the event that Michael Steele seeks another term in the job,” Politico reports.
Yea... he is dividing them! Like Obama is Dividing America!
Define dividing?
Is it just because they refuse to follow... Why would they refuse to follow?
What is different between them and the last leaders that the did follow?
Hmmmmmmm
WAIT, I got it! It is as clear as can be! What do that have in common? what trait makes them 'dividers' to some? Why do the refuse to follow THESE people?
Now what could Michael Steel and Barak Obama have in common??? Hmmmm
The important thing, IMHO, is for the majority to see why these people claim that those people, are not good leaders and are dividing the country!
They say the EXACT same thing about both of them Obama and Steele... Yet one is a Republican and the other a Democrat! So we know the hatred is not partisan based, but what IS it based in?
They were willing to follow other 'leaders' that made horrible judgement mistakes, so what makes these two so different?
What do they have in common that would inspire such hatred?
Look at all the uptighty righty whities line up to replace Idiot Steele at the Racists National Committee. I'm sure Sore Loser Norm will find some way to stall any decision if he looks to be losing, probably will take it to court to see if his lawyers can win for him. Sorry folks but a northern whitey isn't going to fool anyone that the Racists National Committee isn't controlled by southern white racists.
One week ago today I would have called your comment outright racist. But alas, it's Friday and with what unfolded before our eyes with termites crawling out of the walls to defend an inexcusable series of events, your description of the RNC as the Racist National Committee is on the spot.
Remember termites, take their whole house down before they move on to the next. Unless someone exterminates them for the good of the original homeowner, Lincoln's Republicans.
Okay, man...All of us southerners aren't racists and I think that more than the southern pub's have control of the pub party and have done things that are racially questionable.. <sigh>
Even if it were true, you couldn't do anything about it and even so the party isn't going away...even in sky blue California.
The party itself is very healthy in southern states. The suburbs of Dallas, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando, Nashville, Richmond and plenty of other places remain red as a beet. Those also, by the way, represent the cities most attractive for corporate relocations from California and elsewhere in the liberal northeast. Dallas and Austin have had concrete shortages for years. They can't build schools and churches and highways fast enough. I've lived there. I've seen it.
Our national political center of gravity moved away from the south in 2008 and given the trends we're seeing and the Democrats' apparent acknowledgement that political Armageddon is approaching, it's about to go back. That isn't good news for progressives and it's VERY bad news for Obama. If the Republicans retake both houses, I'm wondering if Obama might be impeached. They'll find something. Trust me...there's plenty of dirt out there.
In 2000 I recognized and became turned off by GWBush’s arrogant, punkish, self-absorbed, grossly dishonest sociopathic personality and by 2003 I had enough of Bush-Cheney being ‘puppets’ for Special Interests and the influential, powerful and extremely wealthy few who ‘pulled their strings’, provided them overt and covert support, substantial contributions and even promises for after office compensation all while Bush-Cheney arrogantly and stubbornly, with an in-your-face cockiness, dutifully served the interests of the few and gave the people only apathy, the costs and an abundance of subterfuge to deceive and manipulate. The Republican Party totally and stubbornly supported all of that and it was enough to cause me to change my registration from Republican to Undeclared Party (independent). Since then the Republican Party has boldly and belligerently continued with the same mentality, has demonstrated that they are totally focused on their political ambitions above all else, at any cost and without conscience, and that they feel they can simply take the people for granted and continually try to manipulate them with scare tactics, emotional appeals and any deception they and their supporters choose to use, as if people are just stupid and emotionally excitable pawns for their use. That has not only alienated me but also disgusted and literally offended me as I see it as an insult to intelligence and self-esteem.
I will list just some of the deceptions they boldly attempted, without any elaboration due to limited space, and assume others will recognize the arrogant and insulting, self-serving and dishonest nature of the issues. Remember: Tax cuts for the wealthy; Global Warming not a problem; Private Accounts for Social Security; Minimized/ignored warnings before 9/11; Trumped up justification for attacking Iraq; Abandoned effort in Afghanistan; Afghanistan presented as secure; False coalition with America paying 95%+; Iraqi oil money never paying for the war; Pressure put on the intelligence community; Authorized departure from Geneva Convention rules; Misrepresentations on wars to manipulate public opinion; No bid contracts to favored vendors; Responsibility for port security to Dubai Ports; Excusing the humongous deficit and growing trade deficit; Their apathetic reaction to hurricane Katrina aftermath; Blocking bringing American drugs back into the US; Exposing the CIA agent's identity; Squelching the 'wiretapping without court order' story; Falsely raising the security threat level before 2004 election; Excessive deregulation and the lack of any responsible oversight favoring a few and resulting in unchecked greed, gross dishonesty and criminal self-indulgence; Encouraging the deporting of American jobs and taxes; GWBush falsely presented as a 'born again Christian'; and since Bush-Cheney: Republican totally belligerent concentration on their political ambitions; Stubbornly obstructing and faulting all efforts to address problems; Irresponsibly withholding any bipartisan cooperation; Aggressively intimidating and coercing their representatives to force unity; Supporters organizing and sponsoring Tea Party movement, much like the ‘Swiftboat” effort, to deceptively manipulate the public; Arrogance and gross dishonesty using scare tactics and emotional appeals; yes and even subtly using both sides of racial issue, without conscience; on and on totally without guilt, with complete disregard for responsibility and always aimed to benefit only the few, their supporters and benefactors, while simply taking the public for granted.
With GWBush you could tell when he was lying by just checking to see if he was moving his lips. Now with Boehner, McConnell, Kyl, other representatives and the likes of Limbaugh, Beck, Palin and others, their offensive arrogant and stubborn demeanor, that says ‘up yours’, is their insulting effort to disguise their subterfuge. If some see that as strength, instead of recognizing it as a defensive posture and likely as close as you will ever come to seeing them admit guilt, that is a shame because the manipulation then has found victims.
RGiles,,,,a picture perfect description if i ever heard one,,,I wish i could do the same but to many shorter words (4) seem to come out. Good job,,,factual as could be,,Thank You!
Hooray, someone who won't have to put his foot in his mouth every time he speaks! </sarcasm>
In all seriousness, hopefully Norm Coleman will be able to help unite the GOP as opposed to either casting a bad light on them or dividing them.

Very funny! Unfortunately no Republicans on this blog will get it or admit to understanding what you are saying.

I chuckle at this only due to the sad truth in what you've said. A vote for you is in order. ^_^
I thought equal rights had something to do with merit. Steele's complete idiocy has nothing to do with race!

It will be all right once the GOP is all white
