Meanwhile, Palin tweeted a link to a Las Vegas Review Journal editorial criticizing Obama and Reid on the economy along with choice phrasing of hers: "LasVegas RJ editorial recaps Obama lecture 2 Runnin' Rebs. He's got most disconnected, backasswards plan ever imposed on the country we love."

If she runs it should be fun. I cannot wait for the debate between her and President Obama. She can study from now until 2012 and he will just devour her (send the President some strong anti-acid). One can only hope.
Do you really think Palin will address any of the questions or issues of the debate? You can't have a debate with someone who will not participate in kind.

I feel her candidacy would make for an entertaining primary season, but you'd think the GOP would come to their senses and find a VIABLE candidate. But maybe not - maybe they'll use Sarah like a kamakazi pilot - crash and burn with little hope of actually winning, then go for 2016.

I believe that is exactly what the GOP will do. They did the same to McCain after all.
Remember the movie, Serpico? The cops on the take just stepped aside when the shooting started so that Serpico would get shot. I suppose the GOP could begin developing a platform (other than, just say NO) in time for 2012, but they'd better hurry up. That's why I think they'll just let someone like Palin take the bullet.

I'm a liberal Democrat. But I think Palin is the best candidate the republicans have.
Plus they have Rue Paul and Sharron Angle to pick from for running mates. Personally I favor Glenn Beck as a VP his level of stupidity cannot be matched. Together Beck and Palin have an IQ somewhere in the low 60's. A good average for republicans.

Please, o please run Sarah Palin in 2012. The big O would have to really, really screw up (worse than Dubya) for her to beat him. Just think of all the money he could raise and not need because as soon as she opens her mouth people gasp at her stupidity. Sinister Sister Sarah will have her day in the sun as the Republicans throw her under the bus. She and Steele will get all the blame for their failure to win elections. The fact that the uber right wing extremists are the real reason the party is not winning. If the GOP moves toward the center, which they will slowly begin to do after they lose in 2012 that they may have a viable candidate in 2016. As for Congress, I believe that the Democrats will lose a few seats in 2010 but not enough to lose control of the Congress, both houses, and that the Republicans that will be elected will be the first of the middle-of-the-road types that will eventually bring their party back into power starting in 2016 when they may just win one of the houses of Congress but not both. Hillary will win in 2016 but the GOP will have a better chance than in 2012 and by 2020 they may actually win the Presidency again. If, however, the right wing extremists continue to run the Republican party they have no chance any time in the near or more distant future.

John Devine, There are some very good and terrific Democrats who have this country at heart, even if they have and believe in an ideology as liberalism. They portray good qualities and a sense of what is good and sensible for themselves and the country. That I don't mind.
