Politico writes this about Scott Brown: “When Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown addressed supporters after his upset victory in January, he declared there would be ‘no more closed-door meetings or back-room deals by an out-of-touch party leadership.’ Some would argue that’s exactly what he just did in the final push on Wall Street reform.” It accuses that Brown “has quickly become skilled in the ways of Washington.”
But a Boston Globe poll finds Brown is “the most popular officeholder in Massachusetts. After less than five months in Washington, Brown outpolls such Democratic stalwarts as President Obama and US Senator John F. Kerry in popularity, the poll indicates. He gets high marks not only from Republicans, but even a plurality of Democrats views him favorably.”
SEIU says it will protest Sen. Scott Brown (R) outside of his Boston office today. “Folks in Massachusetts are upset with him for stiffing the states when he joined Republicans [Thursday] night in voting down the jobless aid bill,” and SEIU official tells First Read.

Unemployment benefits are one of those issues that does not directly effect our esteemed and wealthy Congress persons, most of whom were born wealthy, never had to be bothered with holding down a real job, and have no need for the commoners that have to deal with such trivial things, they have corporate buddies and relatives that must be taken care of, defense contactors to keep happy so that the money keeps coming their way, why bother with a few 100,000 citizens crying about losing everything they have when one of their wealthy buddies will be receiving that property, not much of an incentive in D.C. to help hard working Americans that were put out of work by the very actions of Congress, this country is lost.
Pink Leather Shorts Brown is just another pathetic tea bagging repugnant one who has no morals or loyalty to our Secular Democracy. His popularity just shows how stupid people are and how easily they are sandbagged with lies. Rest assured his popularity will wane once people start paying attention to this tea bagging jerk.
Brown claims to support tax cuts. Where was he last week when the unemployment bill was trashed with a 16 vote majority? THat bill included tax cits for small business and everyday Americans. He is learning how to play the game very quickly. He said he would not have closed door meetings, so what does he do, closed door meetings.
I think the people of MA will figure out they made a mistake and throw him out next election. (except for the Big Banks and Insurance companies that he just sold his soul to).
What bothers me most about Brown is all the pictures with his daughters and very few with his wife. Is this his way of showing how 'young and hot' he still is? It just feels a little plastic...
they don't care anything about people not being able to buy thier families groceries, pay their mortgages or just simply taking a family vacation!!!
kick them all out, press the reset button!!!!
