Republican Sen. Scott Brown told reporters he was "satisfied" with SCOTUS nominee Elena Kagan's response to questions about her decision as dean of Harvard Law to bar military recruiters from campus. Kagan meet with Brown earlier today as one of several courtesy calls with senators.
"It is clear to me, we spoke about it at length, that she is supportive of the men and women who are fighting to protect us and very supportive of the military as a whole. I do not feel that her judicial philosophy will be hurting the men and women who are serving," he said their meeting.
The Massachusetts senator did not endorse Kagan. He said he would let the confirmation process and hearings play out before he made a final decision.
