The special Senate election in Massachusetts is certainly heating up.
Yesterday, Martha Coakley's (D) campaign went up with a TV ad hitting Scott Brown (R), reminding Massachusetts voters that he's a Republican. (The ad also gives some credence to the C.W. that the race is closer than some of the polls suggest.)
Brown has countered with this response, portraying himself as the outsider trying to take on the Massachusetts political machine. Win or lose, you're going to see GOP candidates who aren't incumbents use this very message plenty this year.
