Bill: IN 'only way she can win'

From NBC/NJ's Carrie Dann
GREENFIELD, IN -- In his first of four Indiana stops today, Bill Clinton set the stakes high for his wife's performance here in Tuesday's primary.

After pumping up his wife's electability and bemoaning the setback of her loss in caucus states after February 5th, he added, "The only way she can win is if Indiana says yes to her."

Clinton cited recent hypothetical matchups with GOP nominee-in-waiting John McCain, arguing that his wife runs better in must-win states like Ohio and Florida.

And he warned against the selection of a less formidable challenger to McCain. "It'd be a shame to do all this work and not win," he said.
